Alex Segal

A native of New York City, Alex Segal has been playing jazz for a number of years, as a leader and sideman. After graduating from LaGuardia High School of Music & Art, Alex joined the Conservatory of Music at Purchase College where he is now a freshman.
He is currently studying privately with tenor saxophonist Ralph Lalama, and frequently attends master classes held by Eric Alexander, Bob Mintzer, Dave Liebman, and others. Alex can be seen in New York with several projects including The Lucky Chops Brass Band, and The Musical Chairs, a hip-hop/funk collective project lead by artist/producer E.E. Delrey.
